dvdcopier did u use the newest versions of both programs
Slysoft CloneDvd2.5.4.3 and AnyDVD 4.4.1.1 Beta, u have to use both of these for it to work, otherwise it will freeze or get errors

I think the best thing for Res-Evil is using first the VobBlanker 1.6.03 with DVD Shrink 3.2
    Boths are free download
    1-Insert the disc (Res-Evil)
    2-Open VobBlanker program
3-For input folder click Browse and select your DVD leter D: or E: etc. and click Video_TS twice and for the hour glass until all VOB files arer displayed.
4-For output create your destination folder by clicking Browse and type any name.
5-On top left click File and select execute and wait
6-after finishing encoding close the VobBlanker application and open DVD Shrink.
7-on Dvd shrink click Open file(select the folder you created before)
8-Insert Blank DVD and click Backup and select new folder for backup.

The new DVD will bUrn complete With scenes, Languages and Extras selecctions.(no errors)

Thanks "Tomkreut" for your solution to backing Resident Evil. Flawless.
Had a hard time getting the text file to be recognised by decrypter but after a couple of dozen tries, all is well.

Ditto here, Tomkreut. I used your Decrypter method by importing those codes and it ripped RE2 without a problem. I don't know how you compiled those exceptions, but I'm glad you did. :)

for the people who's dvd reader will read resident evil, but not analyse it try using the newest version of clone dvd combined with the newest version of AnyDvd.

It depends on a number of things. Your CPU speed & how much ram you have (basically how fast you computer is) Also depends greatly on what type of DVD-Drive you have.

With my P4 14 minutes to copy with Decrypter and 24 minutes to shrink..It's just copy protection on this disk that Shrink can't beat or the older versions of Decry can't beat, but now the new version is out..and it beats it.

If you have a Plextor, there's an option in Decrypter for speed-read which will rip a movie in under 10 minutes. Problem is, the ripped files are more rpone to errors, so I usually don't chance it.
