I have a Toshiba Canvio 3TB external hard drive and my OS is windows 10. I copy old movies from my other hard drive to the new Toshiba Canvio 3TB and when I tried to open files in DVD Shrink it keep saying the parameter in incorrect. What does that mean and how do I fix this problem because all the other external drives don't have this problem except for the Toshiba Canvio 3TB.

moved to correct forum as not an "afterdawn feedback & suggestions" issue.

Maybe the new disk is 4kb per sector and that causes the problem.

From an elevated command prompt, type: fsutil fsinfo ntfsinfo p:

This instance for HDD p: both numbers are 4096
    C:\Windows\system32>fsutil fsinfo ntfsinfo p:
    *************************************
    Bytes Per Sector : 4096 *
    Bytes Per Physical Sector : 4096 *
    *************************************
    means it's a 4 KB native disk

This instance for HDD c: the disk emulates the older 512 Bytes per sector.
    C:\Windows\system32>fsutil fsinfo ntfsinfo c:
    *************************************
    Bytes Per Sector : 512 *
    Bytes Per Physical Sector : 4096 *
    *************************************
    (4K) disk with 512-byte emulation.
