Yo sup people I have a question. When u shrink ripped DVDs using DVD shrinker is possible to keep the subtitiles that come with the movie? For example in the movie THE MUMMY everytime there is arabic and egyptian talking subtitles popup. Is there a way to keep that?

    Cheers,

If you do a full disc copy everything should remain exactly the same on the copy as it was on the original. Are you reauthoring the disc in any way? Where did you get the original?

I'm not authoring the disc and basically i borrowed the DVD from a friend. I tried doing last samurai and during the preview after i finished shrinking it, whenever there was japanese talking there were no subtitles. Maybe i'm choosing the wrong ac3 audio? cause there is the 5.1 and the 2ch one.

    Cheers,

to preserve the original you do not choose the options you want you leave all the options except the ones you really don't need the subtitles should be in a frame to the right entitled [bold]sub-pictures[/bold]
just leave these checked now if your friend just gave you a copy it is quite possible that they had already taken the sub-pictures out that was the reason 4 the question. but if it is an original they should still be intact
