DVD SKIPPING EVERY SECOND

    Hi got nero 6, a sony dru10a burner and am having problems with burnt dvds, i have converted two movies from avi to dvd using winavi , they playback fine through neroplayer but once burnt they playback skipping every second, i burnt them at 4x to be safe any ideas because it doing my head in. They were divx, xvid before converting to dvd is there a setting in nero i missed
