So I have a hp pavilion a1630n and used adobe encore to burn a movie I made to a DVD. The movie played fine on the computer after burning it, but when I put it into my DVD player the DVD kept on skipping. I then tried using imgburn to burn the DVD and I got the same result. I did decide to burn the DVD at the lowest speed possible (4x) because that worked last time, but it didn't work this time. Is there something wrong with my CD/DVD burner, is it some software problem, or is it the DVD player we have? Thanks a lot -Matt
I used imgburn and magnavox, is magnavox not the best DVD. Also its a DVD-R, will that affect its abilty to play on a stand alone DVD player. I don't think its the lens because the DVD plays fine on my computer. Thanks for the help
"I don't think its the lens because the DVD plays fine on my computer." That's why I'm asking; perhaps the standalone player needs a good cleaning. The -R media shouldn't be a problem. But I certainly wouldn't trust the Magnavox media for anything important.
