DVD Software

    Right now I'm using "Sonic My Dvd" to burn video clips, homevideos (avi,mpegs) and I was wondering if anyone knows a program thats maybe a little faster? or overall better. It really slows down my system and can take a really long time...

    note; not backup software, just software that plainly burns avis or mpegs

    Try transcode with VSO DivxToDVD, then burn with Nero.

    is it camcorder footage? i think mainconcept likes thoses files and is a very good encoder to mpeg2 dvd compliant for putting into burning apps! but it is cpu heavy!

    but as scf_au says divxtodvd is fast and not heavy on cpu usage...

    My computer came packaged with Nero 6.6.0.3 and I tried to 'back-up'
    a movie but it was copy protected. What should i do? Find a less ethical software package or tinker in the options menu perhaps?

    hi

    use dvd decrypter to rip to your hard drive then use dvd shrink to compress to fit a dvdr!

    both apps free and very very good indeed i use these apps and so do many others!
