Greetings, Can someone please help. How does one even the sound level of a compilation DVD and CD? When compiling a DVD or CD from different sounces, chances are that the different video or sound clips will have different sound levels. When the sound levels are not leveled, you havge a compilation DVD or CD playing certain clips at high volume and others at low volume. How does one get around this problem? Another question I have is how does one rip sound only from a DVD and save it as a different music file? Thank you for your help. Josensky
You can leap about with the different audio/volume filters in TMPGenc 4.0 Express. There's a 14-day trial period. http://download1.pegasys-inc.com/download_files/te4xp_en/TE4XP_Trial_4.4.2.238_setup_en.exe To extract audio from video files, give AoA Audio Extractor a whirl. It's a freeware. http://www.aoamedia.com/audioextractor.exe
Hi Fellas, Thank you very much for your comments, I have learnt a lot for you guys. You made me discover the Divx video format; now I can save high quality vidoes using less space. However, the more you taught me, the more questions I have. (1) Any who knows a "one stop" software (free and for sale)that can rip DVDs and convert them to straint into the Divx format without having to rip the DVD first and save save it in a temp file? (2) Any software that can help made Dvix DVDs complete with menus, subtitles etc? (3) Enlighten me, is the quality of the converted Divx format as good as the original DVD? Is it possible to re-convert the Divx file back to its original format and retain the quality? I am more concerned with quality than size. (4) Any site I can go to and learn more about video editing and stuff? I know I am asking too much. However, you are not obliged to answer, though I would be most grateful if you did. Thank you.
