OK! I'm sry if this seems blunt or rude, cause I don't intend it to be, however..... I've been burning dvd's with this same set-up and all brands of dvd-r's for 3 years now (except for the updated programs) and never once had a problem. Now I get this. Can anyone give me an answer that doesn't involve returning the media? I got these from the same place I've always goten my media, the BX. I'm military, it's cheap, and they only carry 1 band (memorex)for some reason. Please hit me back. thank you for your time on resolving this issue here is the error Windows XP 5.1 IA32 WinAspi: - ahead WinASPI: File 'C:\Program Files\Ahead\Nero\Wnaspi32.dll': Ver=2.0.1.74, size=164112 bytes, created 10/26/2004 5:35:34 PM Nero API version: 6.6.0.8 Using interface version: 6.3.1.4 Installed in: C:\Program Files\Ahead\Nero\ Application: ahead\Nero - Burning Rom Recorder: <_NEC DVD_RW ND-3500AG> Version: 2.07 - HA 4 TA 1 - 6.6.0.8 Adapter driver: <> HA 4 Drive buffer : 2048kB Bus Type : default (0) -> ATAPI, detected: ? === Scsi-Device-Map === DiskPeripheral : WDC WD2000JB-00KFA0 atapi Port 0 ID 0 DMA: On CdRomPeripheral : HL-DT-ST DVD-ROM GDR8162B atapi Port 3 ID 0 DMA: On CdRomPeripheral : HL-DT-ST CD-RW GCE-8483B atapi Port 3 ID 1 DMA: On === CDRom-Device-Map === HL-DT-ST DVD-ROM GDR8162 D: CDRom0 HL-DT-ST CD-RW GCE-8483B E: CDRom1 _NEC DVD_RW ND-3500AG K: CDRom3 ======================= AutoRun : 1 Excluded drive IDs: WriteBufferSize: 74448896 (0) Byte ShowDrvBufStat : 0 BUFE : 0 Physical memory : 510MB (522988kB) Free physical memory: 183MB (187620kB) Memory in use : 64 % Uncached PFiles: 0x0 Use Inquiry : 1 Global Bus Type: default (0) Check supported media : Disabled (0) 27.12.2006 NeroAPI 1:14:28 AM #1 Phase 112 File APIProgress.cpp, Line 276 DVD-Video files reallocation started 1:14:28 AM #2 Phase 114 File APIProgress.cpp, Line 276 DVD-Video files reallocation completed (no file modified) 1:14:28 AM #3 Phase 111 File APIProgress.cpp, Line 276 DVD-Video files sorted 1:14:28 AM #4 Text 0 File DVDR.cpp, Line 5937 Book Type counter: 499, Book Type selected in EEPROM, command version 2 1:14:28 AM #5 Text 0 File DVDR.cpp, Line 5937 Book Type counter: 499, Book Type selected in EEPROM, command version 2 1:14:29 AM #6 Text 0 File Reader.cpp, Line 127 Reader running 1:14:29 AM #7 Text 0 File AudioCompilationImpl.cpp, Line 842 DRM: StartDrmRecording(RealRec:1, ImageRec:0, Copies:1) DRM: Beginning burn process. 1:14:29 AM #8 ISO9660GEN -11 File geniso.cpp, Line 3293 First writeable address = 0 (0x00000000) 1:14:29 AM #9 ISO9660GEN -11 File geniso.cpp, Line 3293 First writeable address = 0 (0x00000000) 1:14:29 AM #10 Text 0 File Burncd.cpp, Line 3153 Turn on Disc-At-Once, using DVD media 1:14:29 AM #11 Text 0 File DlgWaitCD.cpp, Line 259 Last possible write address on media: 2298495 (510:46.45, 4489MB) Last address to be written: 2286127 (508:01.52, 4465MB) 1:14:29 AM #12 Text 0 File DlgWaitCD.cpp, Line 271 Write in overburning mode: NO 1:14:29 AM #13 Text 0 File DlgWaitCD.cpp, Line 2316 Recorder: _NEC DVD_RW ND-3500AG, Media type: DVD-R Disc Manufacturer: RITEKF - 1 Disc Application Code: 64, Disc Physical Code: 193 1:14:29 AM #14 Text 0 File DlgWaitCD.cpp, Line 433 >>> Protocol of DlgWaitCD activities: <<< ========================================= 1:14:29 AM #15 Text 0 File ThreadedTransferInterface.cpp, Line 830 Setup items (after recorder preparation) 0: TRM_DATA_MODE1 () 2 indices, index0 (150) not provided original disc pos #0 + 2286128 (2286128) = #2286128/508:1.53 relocatable, disc pos for caching/writing not required/ required, no patch infos -> TRM_DATA_MODE1, 2048, config 0, wanted index0 0 blocks, length 2286128 blocks [_NEC DVD_RW ND-3500AG] -------------------------------------------------------------- 1:14:29 AM #16 Text 0 File ThreadedTransferInterface.cpp, Line 1043 Prepare recorder [_NEC DVD_RW ND-3500AG] for write in CUE-sheet-DAO DAO infos: ========== MCN: "" TOCType: 0x00;
