i did a search for dvd cases but didnt really come up
    with anything?

so my question is, what type of cases do people use?
i bought one type of case on ebay that i really like,
and the next batch i bought from the same distributor
had a different kind of button/lock to hold the dvd.
the first batch was really nice and it held the dvd
very well but it was not tight (you could easily move
the dvd around on the holder)
but the next batch of cases i got had a really snug
button to hold the dvd and im not sure if i like that
or not? or does it really matter?

i used to store my dvd cases horizontally (laying down)
untill i read someplace that its best to store them
vertically (standing up) so the dvd wont eventually
start to bow from laying flat. it makes a little sense,
but im more curious if the 'tightness' of the button
has any effect on a dvd?

    thanks

I use whatever cases I can get hold of at the time.

Don't worry about it, the tighter the buttocks-the better the grip, stops them flopping about.

Whoops, Freudian slip, I meant buttons not buttocks.
    Or did I?

Office Max / Office Depot always have a deal, 200 plastic CD/DVD cases for free after rebate. This is great for sending your media to clients and friends, but I tend to use the Case Logic type cases to store my discs, because I have so many, probably 500 now.

You can get a couple of these nylon cases and you're set for life for dust free storage you can simply take with you to your girlfriend's house. ;) Just don't stack em on top of each other -- store the cases upright/vertically like you store books.

Also be sure the discs are clean before putting them back in the case or you'll just dirty the very cloth sleeves that should be protecting your discs.
