DVD Subtitlte Removal

    I have downloaded a couple of DVDs from the Newsgroups that have dutch subtitles. I used Nero to burn a playable DVD. When played on my desktop or laptop computer, there are no subtitles. When played on my stand-alone DVD player/TV, there are Dutch subtitles.

    My DVD player does not have an option for ignoring subtitles. What files (VOB, BUP, INFO) contain the subtitle info and can it be removed or the file ignored prior to writing to DVD?

    DVD Shrink and CloneDVD2 both offer subtitle and/or Languages removal.

    You -should- be able to use your Subtitles button on yur remote to turn 'em off. (in a perfect world)
