DVD to AVI File

    How do I convert a DVD to an avi file so I can edit the movie? I am usually converting an avi file to DVD. Thanks in advance! WolfpackRon.

    If you wish to Edit your movie have you tried NeroRecode or DVDShrink

    Thanks Gwendolin for the info. I was not able to get Nero Recode to work properly. However, I was able to use DVDShrink to edit bad language out of a movie for a school teacher friend of my wife's. I used the reauthor feature. I will respond to you on your "shout." I currently have a daughter traveling in Australia. Ron.
