Well even if it could would wouldn"t be able to watch them in your DVD player because DVD"s have to be on DVD...

No DVD shrink can not shrink a DVD so it will fit on a CD-R and even if it could the quality would be so Bad that it wouldn"t be worth watching....

The only way you will get a whole DVD to Fit on a CD-r is to Compress the DVD to XviD/DivX/Mpeg-4 format and then you could only play it on your PC or a Mpeg-4 enabled DVD Player.....

    Cheers

This is not entirely true. What you are looking for is called KVCD, videos specifically formatted for CD-R. Encoding these are quite difficult and I've yet to take a crack at it but I have downloaded, burnt and watch many of these on a standard DVD player. This process to the best of my knowledge somehow formats the movies into a BIN/CUE image that can then be burnt using Nero. Look for info on formatting here KVCD.net

You can use DVDx23(or whatever the latest one is) and encode it to a VCD youll need a few cdrs though, more or less depending on what kind of quality you want. there are a few other programs out there,TMPGEnc(I think does it),basically any dvd ripper. then you can use nero to burn, pretty much all the newer burning software burns Vcd's. Good luck.

dude i use to do that, tell you it's not worth it just go out and buy urself a dvd burner and some dvd media.

if u want to do the dvd to cd then do the normal decryting and use tmpengc to convert it to mpeg1 or mpeg2 normally it takes about 2 cds to fit mpeg1 and 3 cd for a mpeg2 and then just burn the mpeg1/2 with nero.
