I followed the guide and had 100% success in every single step BUT, right at the end, there's something unclear....why da ffff*ck do I need 2 different files (firstpass and secondpass)....none of these files work in any player or playa, and it tool me close to 8 hours to compress, encode them.... POST EDIT It seems i was wrong, the second pass will play on windows media player but not in divx the Playa....only problem is, when I jump to the middle of the movie or forward and backwards, wmp crashes and tells me to close "invalid file format" any help with this?
Umh.. When you specified the passes, did you remember to change for the first pass, the VBR selection to "2-pass, first pass" and for second "2-pass, second pass".
