Is there any software out there that will allow me to copy (backup) my xbox games by way of directly copying from cd/dvd to cdr/dvdr. Meaning, instead of ripping the game to my xbox hard drive then, ftping , then burning it. I just want to be able to copy a game like you would a music cd. My xbox is modded already.
No, there is no way. You have to ftp into your xbox. But you dont have to burn it to your hard drive. What I do is use FlashFXP and I FTP into my XBOX with the game in the XBOX (not on the hard drive), and I just access the D: Drive and drag and drop the files onto my PC and burn theme with any burning program as an ISO. I dont know if thats really what you wanted to hear but you have to ftp. There are tutorials at http://www.xbox-scene.com/tutorials.php that can help you if you dont know how to ftp into your xbox.
