Hello. You helped me a lot of times and i hope you could help me this time too. A friend of mine have DVD (Terminator 3)and he wants me to encode his dvd to dvix with subtitle. But the dvd doesn't have the romanian subtitle i need. So i was asking myself if i could encode the dvd to dvix and then reencode the dvix with the subtitle found on the net. I hope you know what i mean. I will syncronize the subtitle and everything. Could you give a program that can do this easyly. I have at home A1 DVD Ripper. Is this program good enough? And after i encode the dvd to dvix what program should i use to apply the subtitle found on the internet? Please give e some links and some detailed explinations ) If you have another ideea, please let me know. I'm newbie in the video encoding part so... Thanx a lot. Iulian
I'd suggest something like AutoGK to convert to a DivX avi. Then download the subs, check that they are in sync, adjust with Subtitle Workshop, SubStation Alpha, etc. if they aren't. Lastly use srt2bmp/fuse to mux to a DivX file with subs.
and for the subtitles.. i found this site useful, where u can download subies. http://www.extratitles.to/index.php as a newbie, of course, i appreciate those veterans to add other subtitle cites.
