Im trying to use imgburn on some backed up dvds I made years ago. I now wish to store them on an external hdd on a format playable by ps3. The disc were made from originals using dvd shrink and Nero. I tried my first movie, as it was processing, it looked like it was going to be an .avi, which should have worked in the ps3. However it ended up a different file and unreadable. I have a few hundred disc id like to have backed up to a hdd.
ImgBurn is mainly a burning program. It doesn't convert to different formats. If you want to convert the movies to AVI, they would have to be ripped to the HDD then a suitable converter - like AutoGK - used for conversion to avi format.
