DVD to Hi-Def?

    I know this is probably a silly qustion but as wondering is there a program out there that will rip a normal dvd onto my computer nd make the film picture better like high def? Sorry it its a silly qustion but im new to all this.

    It can't get better than the source. Most HDTVs have pretty good upscaling but to get the best signal to the TV you need to connect to the TV via HDMI or component.
