DVD to Streaming Video

    I need to encode DVDs into streaming video. They need to be either .wmp or .mpg files (Windows Media Player is preferred). Does any one have any suggestions?

    Windows Media Encoder 9 will encode to WMV and will produce better quality at a Lower Bitrate than Mpeg1 will...It is freeware and can be downloaded of the Windows Web site...Cheers

    Thanks for the response. I tried to use Windows Media Encoder already and it didn't work. Any steps or certain things I should be doing while I encode?
