Hi everyone, I new here, of course ! And after reading a few thread i felt like this could be THE site that could help me out. I have a dvd of home videos here that was handed to me. I was asked if i could take bits and peices of it 1-2min shorts from this dvd and make a page on my cousin's site where he could stream these 'a la youtube' you know with a lil play / pause button at the bottom and not need to download this huge plugin. Well after scouring the internet. I found that i needed flv or swf files (flash videos) I was wondering if there was a straight forward and free (because im really gonna do this once) way of cutting out those lil' video shorts from the dvd and make swf files? Please help? marty.
please help, i am so confused with all the software out there. i need help taking my dvd to mpeg (cutting the clip i want in the process) and then a mpg to swf software? thanks again
