Our kite group was featured on a Detroit TV program, and I saved it to a DVD with my Samsung recorder.. I then used Nero7 to trim the .vob file down to under 20 minutes.. File size of 596 mb.. We would like to make the video available on our webpage but I am unsure what program/fileformat to use so the file is somewhat reasonable for the web, and viewable without ppl having to install any special programs to view it.. So something that the ordinary Windows user would use..
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated..

You could always encode your video in Windows Media Video (WMV) considering that Windows OS is capable of decoding WMV without downloading a seperate video codec.

    Just a suggestion.
