Hey, I want to know if I can make a region free dvd with unlead workshop, because when I start a project it always asks for a pal/ntsc. I already tried using dvd shrink and dvd decrypter, after finishing the project, to remove the region but it didnt work.
PAL and NTSC aren't regions, they're video standards. The big difference between them is resolution. The vertical resolution for NTSC is 480, while PAL uses 576 lines. There are also differences in the color format that a PAL player outputs, but this won't affect how the video is encoded to MPEG-2.
My point is that your project should already be region free. Being able to play both PAL and NTSC is primarily an issue of the TV you have since most DVD players can handle either one.
