I am using Power Producer Gold 2.0 to create a DVD-Video with a mixture of photos and video clips (avi, Xvid, MPG, jpg files) that provides me the required DVD-Video files ie. IFO, VOB files. It works fine with size below 1GB but it does not work (hang) when I tried to create with size about 4GB before burning into a single DVD disc. I copied only the VOB file ie. VTS_01_1.vob from every short video clips produced with Power Producer Gold 2.0. But I have to renamed the VOB file (like below) before using Nero express to create the DVD-Video. Obviously Nero prompted for missing files VIDEO_TS.ifo & VTS_01_0.ifo . I downloaded "IFO editor" that works well for a list of VOB files as follows. (upto VTS_01_09.vob) VTS_01_1.vob VTS_01_2.vob VTS_01_3.vob VTS_01_4.vob VTS_01_5.vob VTS_01_6.vob but not with these files * it only picks up the VTS_01 but not the VTS_02 onwards. VTS_01_1.vob VTS_01_2.vob VTS_02_1.vob VTS_02_2.vob VTS_03_1.vob VTS_03_2.vob VTS_03_3.vob Appreciate if anyone could share your experience, solutions, recommendation or even problems on similar topics to the above process e.g. new IFO.editor you have used that works better, if there is a newer version of Power Producer Gold 2.0 that can handle 4GB size files. Thks in advance. jeff
Does PPG create a VIDEO_TS folder with all the required files before you try to burn it? If it creates a standard folder, load it into DVD shrink see if it will back it up. http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/how_to_copy_dvd_movie_with_dvd_shrink_page_2.cfm
why do you need them this way VTS_01_1.vob VTS_01_2.vob VTS_02_1.vob VTS_02_2.vob VTS_03_1.vob VTS_03_2.vob VTS_03_3.vob --------------------------------------------- why cant you use this VTS_01_1.vob VTS_01_2.vob VTS_01_3.vob VTS_01_4.vob VTS_01_5.vob VTS_01_6.vob for these i use IFOEDIT create ifo button. ----------------------------------------------- problems with over 4gig files is usually your pc is on a FAT32 system and not NTFS.
