I was noticing in NeroVision Express there was an option to pick dvd-video or dvd-video (VR)...what is the difference??
as i understand it not much. i guess (vr) lets you edit or add more video later. this is right out of the ve guide: NeroVision Express 3 SE does not support the DVD-Video +VR / DVD-Video –VR format. If you have a DVD+RW / DVD-RW recorder installed and have inserted a DVD-Video +RW / DVD-Video -VR disk, then you will also be able to create a DVD-Video disk in the DVD VR format with NeroVision Express 3. The advantage that DVD-Video +VR / DVD-Video -VR has over other DVD-Video formats is that you can always alter the contents at a later stage. This means that you can edit the films, insert new passages, delete scenes that you do not want to see, or overwrite the disk. And you can do all this while conforming fully to the DVD standard - so that you can play these DVDs on normal DVD players. DVD-Video +VR / DVD-Video -VR can also be made from videos that have already been stored on the hard drive, or directly via a capture device. hope this helps.
