Some player's will work will -r and some won't. Same holds true for +r's. Personally I use -r's and have never had one problem yet. A friend of mine uses +r's and stands by them 100%. So basically it's personal preferance, whatever works for you.
I have not ever used any dvd+ I just would like to know for sure before I change if I change at all you know after you watch the movie a few times you don't watch it anymore, yea maybe a few movies but not that many.Maybe that's just me .So if i can get it to burn and give one that will work to friends is all that counts. I just hate the lego's and the one's that won't play at all.I don't need any more coasters thats why I'm asking.
