I have a simple question. I was wondering if i get a Bluray disc movie and compress it to fit on a DVD9 as a dvd disc (via DVDFAB8. will the picture look better than the dvd counterpart of the same movie.

An example would be, i got the Inception bluray dvd combo. the Inception DVD is 4.8gb(movie alone). DVDFAB can compress the Inception bluray for maximum size on a dvd9, which is around 8gigs.

    Which one will look better?

    Thanks for all your feedback

If you are creating an avchd disc, then yes it will look better than the dvd copy (since you will have a higher resolution than a dvd video disc. Avchd is a sub format that sony created for their HD Cameras. Avchd allows you to record high definition on to a standard DVDR and then play them back on a Blu Ray player. If you are just creating a standard dvd video possibly, possibly not depending on how the original dvd was created(how much compression they did on the original)
