First unpug the unit, then,,, There should be a little hole in the door to stick a paper clip in, to make the mechanism manually start to eject enough, so you can open it & get the disc out.
Really? Ok. I'll try that. If that works, will I continue to have this problem? What caused this problem? I really would like to fix this myself because Sony wants to charge me a flat rate of $120 to have it fixed. The unit is only 2 years old and I treat it like my first born. Why would it be broken already?
First I would try unplugging it for a while, (maybe an hour) then plug it back in, and let it recycle, then try eject again. If still no luck, I would then turn it off, then back on as I continue to hold the power switch on (to try and get it to reboot).
