DVD wont play in DVD Player or SP2

    Hi,

    I have used PowerDirector V3 and made a move on a DVD-R. I have a 16x Mam DVD +/- RW and 48 x CDROM.

    The movie (DVD) will shown a picture and no sound when using the SP2.

    The movie will play sound and no picture when using Windows Media Player

    The move will not play at all on my Sony DAV S500 cinema surround dvd player.

    I am new to making movies and very frustrated withe all these comptibility issues.

    Some guidance would be greatly appreciated

    what file type is the file before you convert it to dvd?

    are you going from dvd original to dvdr? need alot more info on what you got and wher eyou want to get too.

    Have you checked for updates for PowerDirector? Cyberlink has a tendency to put out software with burner compatibility problems. There updates seem to fix this limitation most of the time.
