DVD won't play... player says PAL

    I burned an avi file to dvd and it works fine on my computer, but my DVD player is a differnt story. Its just says PAL on the display.
    Anyone know how I can fix this or any guides to read?

    Maybe If you told us how you Burned this File to DVD?? Like what software did you use to Convert the AVI file to DVD format and what DVD authoring program did you use and what Burning program ect??

    There is a Guides section on this Site you Know??

    I used vso divxtodvd, then dvd shrink, then nero to burn it... just 1 mpeg file... not avi... hope that helps
