    Hi. I am having tons of problems. I made a video of my son's first birthday with Pinnacle Studio 9 but have not been able to burn it onto a DVD without something going wrong. When I burn it through Pinnacle the DVD skips and freezes in the DVD player (I've tried it on 5 different ones). If I back it up really slow I can see all the frames are there....but for some reason they are being skipped. However, it will play fine on my computer through Power DVD. I've changed all sorts of settings in Pinnacle but nothing has worked. After ruining about 10 DVD's I decided to try burning it through a different program. I converted the file to an ISO through Folder2iso and then burned it using decrypter. Now it won't play on my DVD player at all but will play on my computer. HELP ME!! Should I try using different software or settings?

    Is your stand alone DVD player DVD+/-r/rw compatable?

    @lpolensky:

    Is this the first time you've used Pinnacle Studio 9 to make a dvd?
    Have you had success in the past, if so, what are you doing now that's any different?
    Have you tried using Nero (if you have it, but I think there's trial offer, just google for it) to burn the finished product?

    It might very well be your stand alone player, not all stand alone players recognize every blank dvdr on the market, no matter how good the quality. You might have to experiment as to what media your stand alone likes.

    Hope this helps.

    Good Luck!
