I use Ulead DVD Workshop 2 to author my DVDs. When I have an AVI file, I use Cucusoft MPEG/AVI to DVD/VCD/SVCD/MPEG Creator Pro to convert it to DVD format with a resolution of 720x480. I usually have no problems with the quality of the video or anything. While authoring the DVD, however, DVD Workshop always converts the video title AGAIN, and can take up to hours. Why does DVD Workshop do this if the file is already in DVD format? Am I doing something wrong? Please help. -PutterPlace
Try This....go into your Project settings and set the project settings to the properties of your Mpeg-2 file, Meaning make sure the Resolution, frame rate, Bitrate and audio format matches the Properties of your File, also make sure the "Do Not Convert DVD Compliant Files" Option is enabled.....
