DVD write errors

    liste below is the current error I am getting when I try to burn an ISO image using Nero. The problem started after my system crashed and I reloaded XP. The dvd will decrpyt but will not write. Please help.

    Your firmware is out of date, current version is BYS3. And so is you Nero, current is 6.6.0.18.

    You shouldn't be multi-tasking, close all unneeded apps via task manager.

    You are writing too close to the edge, write no closer to the edge than 4300MBs.

    YOu could try writing at 4x.

    I tried updating firmware, but there is no update available, is there a site that has the update."BYS3" do you have any idea why these were working for over a year until my system crashed and I had to reinstall everything. Its as if the write function on the DVD stopped working.
