DVD WRITER HELP HELP HELP

    MY dvd writer appears as Removable F drive how can i un install my external dvd writer

    Is there a green arrow in the system tray that says "safely remove hardware"? If so pick the device to be removed.
    Did you look under my computer/hardware/device manager/CD-DVD ? If you find your device, right click should bring up options which include uninstall.
