I have an NEC ND-1100a burner. I have a copy of DVD X Copy Platinum 3.2.1. When I try to burn to any 4x DVD+R media it finalizes the disc before it burns it and I have a coster. If I use a 4x DVD+RW it works. 2.4x seems to work but they are getting hard to find. I have tried Maxell, TDK, Memorex all with the same results. I have installed the newest firmware. Still nothing. What am I doing wrong?
1) Using a very old version of XCopy. http://www.nycsoftware.com/dvdxcopy/support/ 2) Try updating your aspi layer. Use force 1.8 http://wombleintheuk.tripod.com/Final/ForceASPI/ForceASPI.htm Any you really should get Platinum RF. To get it go to dvdxcopy.com and log in. If it's not available for download, then you will need to e-mail support@321studios.com, give them your current license and password, [bold]and ask them to issue you a new ripper free license[/bold]. Then once you've downloaded RF and install it, get 321rip:http://321rip.tripod.com/ ... this will make RF a ripper again.
