Can anyone tell me what kind of patch do I need for the sony production dvd's. It seems that when I try to dup the dvd it stops with an error reading. Does anyone have this kind of problems?

DVDXCopy is something of a dated app. The decryption software is definitely out of date. It would have been helpful if you'd mentioned what the error was and not just the fact that you got one. Try running the software app AnyDVD (a driver type decrypter) from Slysoft, http://www.slysoft.com , it has a 3 week trial. It runs in the background and you do nothing except make sure the red fox icon is showing on the task bar and run XCopy as you normally would. If it works, you were just having an encryption problem.

AnyDVD should work with XCopy. I've been told it does. It didn't work for my XCopy.

Also, all XCopy questions are to be posted in the XCopy forum: http://dvdxcopy.afterdawn.com
