I lost my password and license id for dvd x copy. They would not give me a new one. After I had paid 99.99 for this half assed peice of shit product, they said I still had to buy a new one. That just burns my ass. What is this world comming to, companies lie 321 and afterdawn have a license to steal. I am going to buy another copy of dvd x copy and then I am going to spread the license id and password freely over the internet for the world to use. they may shut me down but I going to get a little satisfaction before they do. Also if their are any good hackedrs out there with some nasty little viruses that we can send to 321 and the boys just let me know. I want to take them down. fusking bastards. I hope they read this.
1. Afterdawn do nothing but suply support forums for dvdxcopy!! 2. Threatening spreading their license id around is a serious offense and may get you in a lot of trouble! 3. Never mind other people emailing you about the license info, email stealing bots run over these forums everyday grabbing email addresses and spamming them which is why it is recommended not to post an email address!! 4. If you wanted to say all this to 321, why didnt you just email and them and say it to them instead of coming in here and breaking a lot of rules in one post?? also you could have went to http://dvdxcopy.afterdawn.com 5. I know i would be damn pissed if that happened to me too! But what you gotta understand is dealing with it like this gets you nowhere! I mean, that 1 post is enough for your isp to drop you! And trust me I know what i'm talking about, ask anyone in here who knows me, i used to just let my temper go crazy on forums when people got to me and it got me nowhere, just into stupid trouble with users! I dont anymore and everything is fine! Anyways, hope you get that sorted out soon and remember everything i just said is just my word on it, no need to go crazy at me, cause i wont reply if you do anyway!
321 sends notification e-mails to their customers whenever a new version is released (which is quite regularly). Your license ID and password are mentioned in this e-mail... so maybe you can wait for that?
take a breath and count to ten i called support so many times that the number is tatooed on my brain and still i cant burn consistently every teck a different answer none of them fixes the problem

You seem smart enough to find this forum to bitch, but you can not find X Copy`s forum to get help??? johnmon, In many cases, there are multiple things that can cause the same type of issue. That is most likely wht when you try and get help, you get more than one thing to try.
bmhjdowen, What you were told regarding activations is not true. If you are a customer in good standing, we can add unlocks to your account for free. I suspect that it was the Level 1 or Level 2 Tech Support that told you the bad info, as we are taking support away from the company who did the support for us in the past few months, and they are not happy about it. If you want to PM me with your License ID and email address, I will reset the account for you. If you want to handle it the way that you stated in your post, that's fine as well. It will do nothing to help your situation, and it will do absolutely nothing to hurt the company. At most 3 people would have a free copy if you spread your activation info across the Internet. (2 people if you activated first) Also, if you try and attack us through email or any other way like that, we have ways of tracking that down, and I don't have any doubt that you will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
321 I tried everything the tecks said and still cant use xcopy. I just look at it as a learning curve. Im sure it will get worked out.321 support told me they would open a case and call back but they never did. I hope your new support people can come up something to fix this issue,meanwhile Im trying other things and will post if I come up with a solution
johnmon, Will you explain the problem that you are having and include as much system info as possible? There is a small tool named "Belarc Advisor" that you can get for free that will pull all of the system details and spit it into an HTML document. You can then copy and paste the report into a post or PM to me.
