   So I bought this yesterday and I'm very confused to how to use it. When I run DVD X COPY and pop my DVD into my DVD rom, it says if I want to back it up, it automatically split movie in to two dvd-r's. How can I change this to make it 1 DVD-R?

   You can't ... that is how the program works. If you want to fit it to 1 dvd-r using XCopy, you have to use XPress or Platinum.
   
   Try the free stuff ... DVD Shrink and DVD Decrypter.
