dvd x copy v1.5.2 error message

I get this error meesage 4 out of 5 five times when I try to copy. Says Write was not successful optimum laser power calibration failed. Driver error 02037303h.
This disc is not successfully recorded.
Optical power calibration area error.
How do I calibrate the laser????

Have you tried any other programs to rip and burn your disks? Your version of Xcopy is over two years old, and cannot do new encryptions you may be getting this error because of protection on the disk. Just what movie are you trying to do?

 

they're home movies from my camcorder.
Is there other programs that will do what x copy does?

 

Are these movies in video format if so then use Nero to just copy, the version of Xcopy you have will not copy unencrypted disks.

 

power calibration failed = CHEAP MEDIA !

 

The thing is is that it works some times just not as often as it fails.

 

What is the make/model and current firmware of your burner and what brand of media are you using? Go to this site and dl vso inspector it will give you the information.
