Hello everyone. I have a few questions, which hopefully you guys can help me out with concerning my DVD Copying. I have the DVD X Platinum program, I found how to overide the CSS crypt etc... so I now am able to copy a DVD. However last nite I attempted to copy 2 movies, a newer movie and a older movie,(40 yo old virgin new, Night at the Roxbury old). It seemed like everything was running smoothly, the DVD Drive spits out the disc and say's copying complete. I go to put my disc into my DVD player, and it say's no disc ??? I put it in the XBox 360, same thing it doesn't read it, I then try to put it in my computer drive, and it doesn't read the disc either. I know that the DVD player I have read's DVD+ discs, because I have used them on that player before, however it's not reading these for some reason. I was wondering if there was any information/advice someone can give me for this problem. It would be greatly appreciated if so. Thanks.
No, someone hooked me up with a disc. I then weant here http://dvdxcopy.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/235279 To dl the over ride program. I have a HP drive, can this be a problem also ?
Now if I get what you are saying is right that you have a program that has removed the protection for your back-up. But it still doesn't work after the burn. I would suggest that you try AnyDVD & CloneDVD it maybe since your program is old it maybe having problems with newer discs. Also what kind of media are you using and at what speed are you burning at??
PuertoRok, below is what I just entered in a different post but would be true here as well. One item not mentioned by you is the media you are using as well. If you don't use Memorex or other low grade media, great! If you do, then you might want to reconsider... Here goes again: Now that you are a member of aD when you search through the threads you will find two items of interest very quickly. 1. Memorex is one of the worst DVD media to use. 2. DVDxCopy is to DVD burning like Windows95 is to OS. There are so many FREE programs that are way better then DVDxCopy and media such as TY or Verbatim which cost the same as some of the bottom of the barrel media, but are top of the line. If you asked the vast majority of the nearly 500,000 members, most will agree with the above statements. Also, this thread should be in the DVDxCopy forum as well. http://dvdxcopy.afterdawn.com/
