dvd xcopy platinum too slow

    I have been using xcopy platinum for quite some time now and it always took about 40 minutes to burn a movie but now the last couple of weeks it is taking well over 2-3 hours. How can I make it work like it used to? any help? I'm using the same media and same DVD burner.
