I have a jerky picture on my vcd. I have just noticed that dvd2avi is encoding at 20fps not the 25 that PAL should be. Can anyone tell me how to change this?

DVD2AVI doesn't encode anything, it's merely a frameserver and doesn't affect the video _at all_.

Anyway, jerkiness in VCD can be caused by various issues -- does this happen only when played with stand-alone DVD player?

    Thanks for replying
I've only tried it on a standalone dvd player so far. If that is the case, is that a clue to a possible solution?
The reason I thought it encoded it, was that while it is doing its conversion "20.000 FPS PAL" appears in one of the windows. Maybe the problem lies with the smartripper I'm using??
