dvd2avi saving

    in the articel called "Copy your DVD into DivX format - Guide for 4:3 movies" in understand everything, except the part where you have to save a file in dvd2avi. when i try to save they ask for with compression progamm you should us. they don't say witch in the articel. you can choose between; compres with: none, microsoft mpeg-4 (twice), divx 5.0.2, and something else. my question in witch to choose!?!

    I would go with the latter, DivX 5.0.2 as it is probably the most up-to-date mpeg4 encoder/decoder. Also, have you tried using EasyDivX as a tool for compressing DVD to DivX. It is quite good. Make sure yu have up-to-date ASPI though before doing this.

    In DVD2Avi are you going to the save project or save avi?

    You're supposed to be going to the save project and if you do it normally just starts saving. (takes about an hour)
