Hi there, I have this prob with dvd2one on many DVDs: I put it on HD using DVDdecrypter (also tried smartripper and dvdmaster) and try to compress it using DVD2one 1.1.1, the main movie works fine, but on these DVDs is an error (I think it has something to do with hidden features) which causes dvd2one to crash saying the vob file didn't match the ifo file. Is there any tool or decrypter option which fixes this error? I think ifoEdit should be able to do this, but I haven't found the way to do this ("create new ifos" doesn't work or maybe I have selected wrong options?) THNX & CU AlgoMan
Hi, thanks for your help okay, I used in DVD decrypter these options (default ones): Filemode - remove IFO/BUP RC Protection - Remove IFO/BUP RCE Protection - remove IFO/BUP PUOs - Patch M2V Timecode (00:00:00:00) in IfoEdit I opened the Video_TS.IFO and used Menu extras with following options: - Strip VOBID's - Correct Vob-Unit (Navigation Pack) pointers in VOB files - Correct original IFO files - Remove P-UOps - Remove Macrovision - Adjust Vob Unit pointers - Adjust Audio/Subp point - AutoCopy Menu files to destination I also tried opening every ifo and creating new ifo files via VOB extras, using the same options I also tried many other stuff: - correcting DVD sectors with DVDtoolbox - correcting VTS sectors with IFO update - rip DVD with many other rippers I'm running out of ideas... THNX for your help AlgoMan
Smartripper (I'll do this one it's easier & it's the one I use most) FILE...then tick the checkbox 2 above where the 4 or 5 are already ticked Select folder to send theses files (destination) Rip DVD2One 1.11 is what I use also. Select source folder & destination folder...movie-only (unless your trying to do episode disc then you need to rip ALL files in Smartripper) AC3 6CH/English/Angle 1...START It may be an awkward DVD though tp rip...I've had about 3 so far (out of 75+)
Damn, now this error occurs again! I don't get it, it even occurs on the DVD's I backed up successful before!? CU AlgoMan
okay, I found out, what the problem was: I copied the DVDs from a bad DVD-ROM Drive, this must have copied files wrong, so they didn't match... CU AlgoMan
