    Hi there good ppl,

I am having problems with DVD2One and TMPG DVD Author. I use DVD2One to get 2 movies into a size small enough for both of them to fit onto one DVD.

My problem is that when I put a menu into it. The menu appears fine but when I press menu on my standalone DVD player it does not go to the menu. Which menu setting should I be using in order to have the menu command work under a standalone player.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

P.S. Oriphus your guide was very insightful keep up the good work.

Cheers on the praise. When using TMPGEnc DVD Authro, are you creating a menu that says DVD 1, DVD 2 and then sub menus for each DVD?

I'm not sure whether or not I am doing DVD1 or DVD2 or submenu. Incidently what menu should I use in order for the menu button on my standalone player to respond? I am obviously picking the incorrect setting and choosing the root menu somehow.

Is there any way I can get music onto my title screen?

    Thanks again Bud.

Im not sure about the first part of the problem, to get music or video, left click on the background of the menu screen and you should be able to load files to the background.

You mean if I left click on the background I can add music files in a loop?

What format does the music have to be in, in order for my standalone DVD player to accept it?

I thought when I left click I could only add a picture?

    Thanks for the advice,

You can add a video clip as well as just an image. If you can add a video clip, you can surely make the video black and play a music file inside it. I havent tried it though so dont hold me to it ;-)
