Trying to extract dts from a dvd to make a wav for a vcd.....no luck so far so I was thinking can you use dvd2one to make the mpeg file then extract to audio file from this as a wav?

If you take a DTS track and change it to wave, you are loosing the DTS aspect of it. Why not use the AC3 sound instead?

DVD2one actually doesn't make an MPEG file. if you want to do this you should convert using a program called DVDx, and frameserving to TMPGEnc -> it will output a multiplexed, VCD ready file (even though it will take overnight in most cases).
I always used this combo back in my VCD days, and almost never had trouble.
