I used this program to compress an image that worked fine in windows media player with good picture and sound. After compressing the file successfully I burned it to disk with Nero and I do not have any sound when I play the DVD. I checked the compressed file as well in windows media player and there is no sound. Where did I go wrong?
Most likely when compressing the file you didnt check the right audio its 2ch or dolby digital. Try compressing again and when asked for choice of audio check the appropriate box wich applies to u and your dvd player or pc wich ever u r playing the dvd on.(i always check dolby digital only unless there is no option then i use 2ch) Also another thing that can be your problem is some dvd players will only play certain burns with s-video cable connected without rca jacks or vice versa, but most likey it is u not checking the correct box 2ch/or dolby.
I checked both boxes and I do have rca cables into my amp from the dvd player. I am wondering if the DVD which is a concert DVD has some security feature that is disabled when you use DVD decrypter. I am not sure and would appreciate any help or comments.
Maybe your dvd is by default DTS,.Have you tried toggling through the audio streams with your remote? If your stereo doesnt support DTS that stream wont play.
