I recently tried a new install with XP + SP2 and full updates. After installing latest version of DVD43 the PC would boot up with the Windows XP window logo. After about 3 mins+ of black screen the XP desktop would eventually appear. After me booting up 2/3 times of doing this it ended up just rebooting itself during the black screen stage. To solve the problem I ended up putting XP on with just SP1 and it was happy with that. Has anyone else had a problem with DVD43's latest version and XP SP2? Does anyone have a fix for this problem? many thanks
DVD43 is not the greatest of programs... it's hit or miss and when it started to give me problems and hardly worked anymore (even with an update of the program)..... dumped it's AS_! it's just an AnyDVD wantabe! So get the real thing and use the 21 day trial of AnyDVD ..... it's soooooo much better than refurbishing your computer to use DVD43...... just not worth the sacrifice!
