    Is this software still available? I thought I read on this forum that some company bought them out and was disabling the software. Is there another freeware avail that is as good as dvddecrypter?

    While still available in some places on the web, there is also DVDFab Decrypter that works in much the same way DVDD does in file mode, but it only rips. For the burn you have Imgburn, which was developed by the LUK, they fella that gave us DVDD, but it only burns.

    file hippo doersn't work. It takes me to google search for some reason.

    thugs, he/she is right. When you click on the link to download it, it takes you to a google search.

    I tried it at Mr Bass link and got it without a hitch. Make sure you click on the .exe file.

    What's up? Hope you had a good weekend. I did about 12 backups this weekend. Plus took the better half Christmas shopping for the grandkids. More to do. :}

    i have been trying to download dvd decrypter from mrbass but everytime i do it says authentication failed failed to retrieve disc key please help

    I just successfully downloaded it from the Mr Bass site 1 minute ago.

    Don't know what problem you are having regarding authentication.
