Listen I got all the free stuff and some hacked stuff. DVDfabexpress is so easy and convenient I Bought it!! 1 click and walk away comeback and it's done!! Plus it's been able to copy the newest and hardest movies (stealth, etc...)
I'm tired of bad and skip burns. Fab works as good if not better than DVDdecrypter with compression and 1 click copy.
All you DVDshrink fans out there should realize DVDSHRINK is getting outdated. I love the program but I just wasted 7 discs and my time copying HaveGun/WillTravel season 3. Every disk froze on last scene!! I did do it over with DVDdecrypter then DVDshrink and it worked but what a pain. DVDFAB is 1 click plus free updates.
This is just my fustrated opinion but nothing sucks worse than a movie freezing up on you in the middle of a great part...

Ive been using shrink as an encoder and so far i dont think it is outdated.I think it does its work perfectly.I dont use it to rip but i could because i have anydvd.I just use it ti shrink and thats it.It is a great program. And i think i will be using it for long time.I dont know what reason would make me stop using it but that reason doesnt exist yet.Nero recode2 is faster than shrink and i have it but i dont use it.I did use it ti try it as i do with my rpograms but i have some favorites.Shrink is one of them.:)

When a Movie Freezes near the End it Usually has Nothing to do with How the DVD Was Created or Encoded But with How it was Burned and the Media Used...

Movie Freezes near the End are usually Caused from Burn errors and or Bad Media...The Most Valuable Lesson that i learned early On was to ALLWAYS Burn your DVD"s at the Lowest speed Possible because faster Burning Means More Burn errors and the End of a Disk is the Most Error Prone area of the Disk to Burn....

    Cheers

Shrink doesn't set a speed (I think??) so that theory is no good. I do believe you are right when using NERO slower is better. Also using shrink just to compress a movie is fine also but that is a several step process (1st you to decrypt it, then saving it, then compress it, then delete it). DVDFAB is up to date and 1 click convenience. I love shrink just wish the guy who made it didn't get a job with NERO so we would have some updates...

When you click Backup DVD, Click the Burn Settings Tab, adjust the "Burn Speed" to your liking. Slower = better.
