    I tried to run dvdfab, there was a pop up saying there is a updated version. is this true

    Probably. The program is updated from time to time. Follow the popup to get the latest version. Or close the popup and use the version you have. Newer versions will cover newer movies.

    Just be sure you're not directed to the pay for program. You may have to search for the free one!!!
