Been thinking about buying DVDFab Platinum, i like the features available such as converting to portable and cloning direct to a DL disk...has anyone tried the platinum version? and is it worth it? I am seriously thinking about geting it, but my only worry is teh bugs associated with it not burning and when they will be fixed....

any input would be great, i was a complete noob when i came here only owning Xcopy and i can now back up everythign i want easily with DVDFab express + shrink + decrypter.... but like i said the extra fewtures seem really nice, but 50 bucks is a little pricey, but not bad if it's all it's cracked up to be

any thoughts or info would be greatly apreciated...especially on the bugs in the newer version... i'm still using the old free version

sorry if this is in the wrong forum, but there's so many sections on here and i didn't see any with DVDFab in teh description

    thanks in advance
    Glenn

I didn't know there was bugs in the current version of DVDFab Plat. I haven't used it since I have RipIt4Me and AnyDVD +CloneDVD2, DVDRebuilder Pro w/CCE, and DVDRemake Pro, and all the VSO software! I haven't used DVDFab PLat in about 8 months now. I should try it out and see if it still works! LOL

People pay $60 for AnyDvd and CloneDvd2 together.

no, haven't bought it yet.... wanting to get more feedback on it's capabilities before i do.

would really like to know how well it will clone DVD-9 to a DL disk and how well it compresses DVD's for generic ipod players
